Peg Rowe is a Managing Partner with Tiara International LLC. Through her business experience, Peg brings knowledge, wisdom and unique perspective on building high performance teams, creating a collaborative culture, developing leaders and delivering exceptional results. She has served in senior executive level operations and general management roles at American Hospital Supply Corporation, Baxter International, Caremark International and Paidos Healthcare Management Services. As a leader, Peg coached teams during major corporate transitions and change initiatives, exceeding business objectives.

 

 

Your Panelists

Maggie WalshMaggie Walsh works in Client Development with HDR, a firm that specializes in engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services. They are well-known for adding beauty and structure to communities through smart infrastructure yet provide much more than that. They create an unshakable foundation for progress because their multidisciplinary teams include scientists, economists, builders, analysts and artists. Maggie has worked in the transportation industry for over 20 years, including recent time spent working and living in the Middle East.  She brings both a personal and professional history of resilience to the panel.

 

Karen Goins has been helping emerging leaders and executives succeed in corporations, government and academia. Karen’s background includes 23 successful years in corporate America and community service.  As director of Global Human Resources at a Fortune 500 company, Karen designed and led the firm’s global HR initiative and led a multimillion-dollar human resources transformation project. Karen’s background also includes leadership positions in manufacturing, contract negotiation, engineering, procurement and product development. Karen is the author of “Leading from the Middle-Conversations with Successful Middle Managers,” and she is often asked to speak on the art of resilience.

 

Whitney AllgoodStep Up’s first director of teen programs, oversees execution of Step Up’s mentorship curriculum for high school girls in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and soon, Dallas. Whitney leads the organization’s effort to capture and evaluate impact and is a key contributor to Step Up’s expansion strategy. Bringing over 20 years of experience in the education and nonprofit sectors, Whitney has most recently enjoyed teaching at her local community college and helping high school students take the tests and write the essays that will secure their admission to college. As a first generation college graduate who once struggled to adjust to higher education, she especially enjoys helping others step up to the college challenge.
